Misfire on 2004 Dodge Ram 1500

My 4004 dodge 5.7 Hemi has a code that says #5 cyl is misfireing. What could that be? The engine check light stays on and my overhead outside temp sensor not working.

These two problems are not related. It hard to guess at what is the problem with out being able to do some basic tests. A misfire can be ignition related (#5 coil to have failed, failed to be triggered by the computer, or the spark plug may be bad), it may be fuel related (injector not working properly or not being triggered to operate, or low fuel pressure) or it could be mechanical, a burned valve , low compression in that cylinder or a intake manifold vacuum leak.
