I would recommend doing a compression test on all cylinders. It is possible that you have low compression on 1 or more cylinders. You should see a compression reading of 130-160psi. You may also want to check the vacuum in the intake manifold at idle, it should be 16-18 inches of vac. Is it possible you have a timing belt/chain issue? If you have jumped time this could cause a misfire as well. Personally I would recommend a mechanic that properly diagnoses your problem rather than just throw parts at it hoping that will cure your problems. Hope this info was helpful to you.
