Mirrors on 2001 Buick Regal

I need to replace the drivers side mirror on my mother-in-laws Regal. How do I remove the old one?

In most cases you must remove the door panel to replace the mirror. There are three nuts behind the upper mirror trim and if the mirror is electric the wire connector is down inside the door.
