Body, Interior & Misc., May 25, 2011

RepairPal Expert Overview:

Seventy-five vehicles were recalled because they were assembled with a European specification tachometer that uses brake-system warning lights and symbols that do not meet U.S. requirements. In the event of an ABS system problem, only the outer circle of the symbol illuminates, not the ABS letters. As such, the driver may be unaware that there is a problem with the ABS, increasing the risk of a crash. All vehicles involved in the recall have been repaired.

For Models: Mini Cooper Clubman, Mini Cooper S Clubman

Brakes, October 16, 2008

RepairPal Expert Overview:

560 vehicles may have been filled with the incorrect front brake rotors (16" rotors instead of 17"). Under certain driving conditions, this could result in reduced braking performance, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect the front brake rotors and pads and replace them as necessary. The recall is expected to begin by October 16, 2008.
