Took a trip to Maryland and only got 17 miles to a gal . The speed I was traveling was between 75 to 80 miles a hour. How do I increase to 19 or 20 on the highway?

Slow your speed to 65-70, check air pressure in the tires and make sure the air filter is OK. Try to accelerate slowly and with all these things you will achieve the 19-20 miles per gallon.
