miles on a car on 1995 Ford Mustang

Now my mustang has 158,000 miles on it and I was wondering what I would have to do to keep it going for as long as it can. Can I just buy a new motor or what?

Have it completely inspected at a qualified shop, compression test done on engine, go over your records and see where you need to catch up on your maintenance, etc. Weigh what is needed, costs for parts and labor, is car paid off, can you affford another vehicle, does it meet your needs?
