Question: Mild pulsating thump when braking

I have ABS brakes and I notice a mild pulsating thump when I step on the brakes firmly. Is there a maintenance procedure that I should have done to eliminate this? Thanks.

    It is most likely normal ABS application. Ask the mechanic to check it next time he drives your car. Have the brake fluid changed every two years to optimize brake performance and lessen risk of brake hydraulic system failure.
