My wife's brakes were squeaking so I told her to take her car to the shop down the street. Unfortunately I wasn't specific enough and she ended up at Midas where they installed new brake pads all the way around for $400. When I got home and heard she went to Midas and not the shop I meant, I was worried but strolled out to her car thinking maybe everything would be ok. It was amazing how terrible the brakes were. It literally took all my leg strength to stop the car. I complained to the guy at Midas that the pads were terrible and they said they would "adjust it" for free. But the adjustment did nothing. The car was literally impossible to stop with these "brand new" "premium" pads!
DO NOT take your car to Midas unless you want TERRIBLE brakes. Midas is NOT cheaper than anyone else either... price shop and you'll see.
