They did a terrible job on my Corolla's front disc brakes. I needed my pads replaced and rotors resurfaced, "upgraded" to the ceramic pads which were so much better (and expensive) then the normal pads..
Car was not ready when promised, notification was never made that the car wouldn't be ready by the previously promised time.
Once I picked up the car, the pads would squeal loudly and my Corolla's brakes squealed like a NYC Subway train. Fine, I thought - just a break in period. 1 week later, it still didn't go away.
I took the car back to complain about the squealing, they said the rotor had a lot of dust on it and needed to be cleaned. They cleaned it for free, the brakes stopped squealing for 1 day and then came back.
What really did them in for me was the grinding the brakes would do when I was slowing down on the highway. It sounded like they were going to fall off.
I ate the cost of the brakes (160$) and took the car back to my Toyota dealer to get OEM pads and the car has been fine now.
Based on this experience, I wouldn't let Midas put air in my tires, much less recommend them to anyone.
