Two sets of brake shoes and neither fit. Mechanic made a call and said there was an engineering change mid year increasing diameter of shoe. Can this be verified?

MasterI've never had a problem ordering brake shoes for these Corollas. We order from a company called Worlpac which are very big but only in certain parts of the country, I enclose a link for Rock Auto they ship parts at pretty good prices/quality.
