    I moved to San Francisco just over a year ago and live right around the corner from Metric Motors. They are fast, honest, do great work, and know German cars inside and out. I used to have to take my car in a few times to fix problems because other technicians were never exactly sure what was wrong, but the Metric guys seem to get it right the first time. I haven't had any unexpected problems since I first got a bunch of things fixed a year ago. And, as the other reviewer points out, they do tell you how urgent they think everything is and won't do work they think is unnecessary (unless you insist) and will explain how urgent a given problem is. Plus they always give a free car wash with every service!

    This place is great! I've been going here for a few of years now and they are always friendly & professional plus they are better & cheaper than the dealer.(I have a 2002-VW Jetta) I especially like that they explain everything to me and make sure I understand what needs to be done and why, and what is most pressing to fix and what can wait. Lots of other places don't do that. They are honest. Go here! Your car will thank you.
