Question: metal noise

 Rookie

I have a 06 Ridgeline, just recently I started hearing this noise from the front end on the passenger side like metal to metal. Each time I hit a pot hole or go over some railroad tracks or any bumps on the road.My warrenty has expired.The last time I took it in to have it check to the car dealers. We the tech. and I went on test drive so that he could hear the noise nothing happen, But said for $150.00 they could have it checked. can you help me?

    I experienced the same noise you described and it turned out to be a bad strut. I own a 2006 Ridgeline also. I love it !.......You will most likely need to put it on a lift and have the tech to test it like he would any strut . You can get that done at Compare Muffler & brake for free . Their located in St louis.....Bob

    Have the same problem with the identical model year,noise from the front end even though the two front struts were just recently installed new.The noise still remains, is there something else making that annoying sound when hitting pot holes.

    Sounds like the clip broke off that holds down the windshield washer fluid neck. Should be fixed with a new plastic body clip. I believe Honda had a service bulletin about this. I would check that first.
