I was told that if the torque converter was taken off the engine and that engine was put into another car that the timing would be messed up ????

Six months ago clock would not reset. I brought it in and they said they had to update the software and changed it for me. It is now doing the same thing again with the time change I cannot reset it. Trying to avoid bringing it in overnight to have it fixed.

Trying to repair pcv valve, unable to locate

When I go to my local Auto Zone, they put the hand held diagnostic device on the car and it says, "check emissions, fuel system. I have that "no gas cap" fuel filler pipe. Is there a fix for this problem? Having the check engine light go on and off is really a pain in the ass. The car has over 85,000 miles on it and it runs great!! It seems to be temperature related. Now that the warmer weather is here, the check engine light has come back on. They reset it at Auto Zone, but it comes back on a few days later. Is this a common problem with Mariners? Thanks for your help!!

ly the dash lights, i checked the battery its fine i check the fuzes they are fine what else could be the problem if any one could help me out that would be great
