The rubber seal that surrounds the engine compartment may become dislodged from the bulkhead area, and fall into the engine compartment. Dealers will replace the rubber seal free of charge to resolve the concern.

The double seatbelt buckle in the center position of the rear seat may fail under load, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash. Dealers will replace the double seatbelt buckle to correct this concern.
On certain station wagon models, a connecting rod for the load leveling rear suspension system may fail. This could result in reduced vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect and replace the level control connecting rod as necessary to correct this concern.
Forty-one vehicles may have a front engine pulley that was manufactured with an insufficient adhesive where the inner mass damper ring attaches to the vibration damper. If the inner ring were to separate with the hood open and the engine running, personal injury could result. Dealers will inspect and replace the affected parts to correct this issue. This recall is expected to begin during April of 2011.
Mercedes Benz is recalling 2010 C-Class, model 204; E-Class, model 212; and 2010–2011 E-Class Coupe/Cabriolet, model 207 vehicles due to a loss of power steering fluid that could result in power steering system failure. Owners may not have sufficient control of the vehicle in areas like parking lots, thus increasing the chance of a crash. Dealers will check and re-torque the connection fitting, free of charge.
