Mercedes-Benz CLK350 Recalls
There are several computers in the vehicle and each computer requires proper software to operate the each vehicle system. One particular software calibration on this vehicle was erroneous from the factory and could keep the fuel system powered after an accident. This can cause fuel to continue to flow even after an accident.
An internal fault with the module that controls certain vehicle functions may cause it to fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
The rear outboard seat belts may not latch correctly when used with certain child safety seats, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
