There are several computers in the vehicle and each computer requires proper software to operate the each vehicle system. One particular software calibration on this vehicle was erroneous from the factory and could keep the fuel system powered after an accident. This can cause fuel to continue to flow even after an accident.
Wiring to the starter motor may be damaged, resulting in loss of function of the vehicle's electrical system.
The second row belt buckle may not be secured correctly, causing it not to function as designed in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of personal injury.
