Mercedes-Benz will notify owners of affected vehicles during November 2011. If you are experiencing a Diesel fuel leak, or you don't receive notification and feel you should have, please contact your dealer. It's helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) when you call.
The Diesel fuel filter may leak from the area around the heating component. Fuel may leak onto the roadway, increasing the risk of a crash. A fuel leak always increases the risk of a fire. Dealers will replace the Diesel fuel filter to correct this concern.
