  I was charged 60$ for a diagnostic to check my engine light. A service that most places do for free. I was not even allowed to view the testing being done. I was given no warning that the work could not be garunteed. The mechanic did not find the problem, and told me that another kind of diagnostic was required that takes an additional 2 hours and a 100$+ cost. On top of all this, the lady behind the counter had a bad attitude.

  I won't be visiting Meineke again.

  These are top rate professionals. We took our truck in to have the brake pads and rotors assessed b/c another shop in town had told us that our rear brake pads were nearly gone as well as our front brakes AND that shop also indicated that we needed to have our rear rotors replaced. This sounded extremely fishy to us b/c of previous work we had done on the truck as well as the extremely low mileage. The mechanics at this meineke shop didn't only dispell the line of BS that we had received from the other shop, but they took us back into the garage area and showed us exactly what level of wear we had and gave us a quick education on our system..... FOR NO CHARGE! Since our experience, we have sent other people there as well and they have all been extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism and friendliness.
