I went in for a tune up and they saw my battery was all corroded over but they didn't test the battery, and the next day my car couldn't start up. I called AAA and they replaced the battery, but I was disappointed they didn't check my battery. When the guy from AAA tested it he saw it was pretty low and they obviously didn't check it. Everything else came out okay.

They were very friendly and helped me out when I really needed it. I was on a business trip out of state and the car broke down when I was leaving to Ohio from Michigan and they helped me out and got me back on my way.

They repaired three of my cars in about a two month period. I wouldn't call them cheap but they did do a good job, and I was paying them for a good job. The only thing was in about a month I was told that the oxygen sensor and the gasket was an issue. Less than a month, and I was back repairing it again. But everything else was good. Otherwise, they did everything I asked for and did it on time, fairly close to what I asked for. My quality fleet of used cars is all fixed up.

I was dissatisfied with the service, the high prices, and the towing bill. Four miles down the road, I was charged one hundred and forty dollars. The text messages I received, the specials, I was not happy about. I was very dissatisfied.

This family owned and operated shop is managed by Dave Bono. We found that Dave oversees a fine group of technicians, one of whom is ASE Master Certified. All regularly attend update training classes and have over 30 years of combined experienced. We also learned they have the tools and diagnostic equipment we would expect to see at one of our Certified shops. All of this gives them the confidence to back their work with a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty. If the battery is fully charged and you are still not able to get the key out, then there may be an issue with the shift interlock mechanism or wiring. You will need to locate a wiring schematic, troubleshooting info, and do some testing to isolate the failed wiring or component. If you are not comfortable with the troubleshooting, it is time to find someone who is, so that parts are not replaced on a guess, because that gets real expensive real quickly.

You can start by checking all of the fuses to see if one is blown. If you dont find one, there could be a problem with the wiring under the carpet, or a problem with the fuse block. If that is the case, it is probably time to get some help in the form of a wiring diagram, or someone with the skill to troubleshoot the electrical issues. Let us know if we can help in any way.

The best thing that you can do, no matter what type of vehicle you decide to buy, is to get a pre-purchase inspection. Find a trusted repair shop that will check out the car and tell you all that is wrong with it BEFORE you buy it. It is good to do internet research, but far more often, high repair bills come from buying a vehicle that has not been taken care of, rather than buying the wrong model. Remember, that most expensive repairs are caused by lack of proper maintenance, and not poor design. And the people that will bad mouth that model on the internet are the people that did not maintain their own vehicle properly. So, do your homework, find a vehicle that suits your needs, but most of all, get a pre purchase inspection.

The gauge may be able to be repaired. Either you or someone qualified may be able to disassemble the instrument cluster and repair the gauge.

I agree with integrity first automotive. However, this problem could also occur if the intake manifold gasket has failed, even if it is new. Finding out what the problem is should be inexpensive, and then you can decide which way to proceed with fixing it. A WORD OF CAUTION: if there is white smoke coming from the tailpipe, do not drive the vehicle, as more damage could be done, and the cost of repair will be much higher.
