RepairPal Expert Overview:

The frontal passenger air bag inflator may rupture upon air bag deployment, spraying debris inside the passenger compartment. Dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag free of charge to resolve the concern.

The electrical portion of the ignition switch may lack proper grease at the contact points, leading to the points becoming conductive and overheating. Dealers will replace the ignition switch free of charge to resolve the concern.

The shift lever may not be fastened securely to the transmission. Dealers will inspect the transmission and if necessary tighten the manual shift lever bolt or replace the lever assembly free of charge to resolve the concern.

The fuel tank shut off valve may allow fuel to enter into the fuel tank emission system unintentionally. This may result in a fuel leak to the ground and engine stalling. Dealers will inspect the vehicle's fuel shut off valve and replace it as necessary, as well as replace any further affected fuel tank emissions system components free of charge to correct the concern.

This limited regional recall is for vehicles currently registered or first sold in southern Florida, along the Gulf Coast, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Saipan. Upon deployment the passenger airbag inflator could rupture, increasing the risk of personal injury. Dealers will replace the passenger side air bag inflator to correct this concern. Note: this supersedes recall #14V-344.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

These vehicles are equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system designed to warn the driver if the pressure in one or more tires becomes to low. In the affected vehicles, if all four tire were to gradually loose pressure at the same rate the tire pressure monitor system (TPMS) may not alert the driver of the drop in pressure. If the vehicle is operated with the tires at the incorrect pressure sudden tire failure could result, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will update the TPMS software to correct this concern.
