They worked on my air-conditioning system and now my truck is in another shop and they're working on the air-conditioning system again. The air-conditioning fan motor is making noise and is not working right. It almost makes me wonder if I even needed to get it replaced and it was a very expensive part. It was a couple hundred dollars.
The servcie was very professional. The Gentleman I dealt with, was Chris. He provided me a ride home and picked me up when the car was done. When he repaired the car, the parts he put in were faulty, I brought it back because it was making noise and he repaired it with no question. He was honest and told me that it was a faulty part.
I called Chris about two months ago to get a quote on 2003 valve gasket repair and spark plugs. $350 for the gasket repair and 20 per spark plug. That makes $470 and add the tax it comes out to 500. During the repair they said that it needed new sparkplug cables and I said ok. That added 65 in parts to bring the theoretical total to 565. The final bill came to $648. As I look at the bill I see iridium spark plugs for 17 each- buy them online for 1/2 that same brand. Valve cover gasket set $80 -buy it online for 22.
Intake plenum gasket 20-buy it online for 10. $30dollar hasmat fee that they charge. The original price quoted over the phone was about in the middle of the average charges shown on this site. Watch your wallet.
