Trying to replace my master cylinder on my car. I have it attached to the booster but can't get the first line coming from the combination valve screwed in straight . I don't know if it is bent or something else.

    Attach the lines first but leave them loose until you get the master cylinder mounted. Then tighten everything at one time. Much easier. Old trick..

    Yeah I tried that but the line is very difficult to screw in once I get it about halfway into the master cylinder, and it seems like some of the threading has been stripped or cross-threaded. I know it is the correct replacement, do you have any other suggestions, thanks.
