My brakes went out while traveling. When I refilled the brake fluid it just drips back out. The leak is somewhere between the reservoir and the steering wheel. I'm guessing it is a faulty master cylinder. Does anyone know what the retail price is of replacing it? Cost of master cylinder, fluid, bleeding the brake lines -how many hours? What else is involved? Thanks in advance!

If the leak is at the rear of the Master Cylinder, fluid had likely filled the Power Brake Booster. The brake fluid will damage the rubber diapraham with the booster, thus, you should consider replacing both Power Brake Booster and Master Cylinder.
