I replaced the Mass Air Flow Sensor, not a hard fix, you can do it yourself, no need to pay the high dealer price.

Replace MAF. This will be the 3rd time at 124K.
The check engine light has been a problem from airflow. I have just tolerated it
Actually was on way to get vehicle smogged and check engine light came on...therefore could not smog. Took car to shop. They ran test and found downsteam 02 sensor out of limits. replaced to the tune of approx. $616.00, $260.00 was labor, rest part. Still not sure if will pass smog. I have to drive 150 miles to reset computer info before it can be smogged. These sites may be helpful...or maybe not... http://youtu.be/oZrFv77l9nQ http://youtu.be/WEbhLyf_qXU
