Mercedes-Benz SLK230 Mass Air Flow Sensor Failure Causing Poor Fuel Economy and Check Engine Light on
Mercedes-Benz SLK230 Problem
Average Mileage: 96,991 mi (44,000 mi - 190,347 mi)
The check engine light has been a problem from airflow. I have just tolerated it
Actually was on way to get vehicle smogged and check engine light came on...therefore could not smog. Took car to shop. They ran test and found downsteam 02 sensor out of limits. replaced to the tune of approx. $616.00, $260.00 was labor, rest part. Still not sure if will pass smog. I have to drive 150 miles to reset computer info before it can be smogged.
