They took care of us promptly without an appointment; they did the estimate quickly and efficiently; they offered us an equal vehicle to complete our travel plans for a very nominal fee and no mileage charge even though they knew our travel plans; they did the repair job so well that the van has never been better or quieter; they cared about us even though we did not live locally.
1. I was told that my car transmission oil was discolored even through the oil was change less than a year ago. 2. The oil filter used by Mark's Auto was sub par compared to the cheapest oil filters one can buy at local Wal-Mart. 3. Too many unnecessary repairs recommendations. I concluded that Mark's Auto repair shop is not trustworthy based on my first oil change experience with them.
I recently purchased a vehicle and wanted a knowledgeable shop to look the vehicle over. First shop that came up on Google was Mark's! Very pleased with the level of customer service from all of the guys in the office (Tad, Terry, and Jake). They were easy to talk to and answered all of my questions, which was a lot. I appreciate their patience and honesty as I was walked out to my vehicle, shown what the tech found. They could've simply told me what they found and suggest repair(s) that might not have been needed. The waiting room looks to be out of a spa! I elected to have the suggested repairs done the day I came in. They offered to take me home while the repairs were getting completed which was very nice. I was in shock when they told me what was available to me after I had my repairs, a warranty (24k miles/24 months) and road side assistance! I could be in Colorado and if I have an issue, call the 1-800 number that was provided and my vehicle could be towed to the nearest shop to have it inspected. You have a customer for life!
My 2001 Volvo cross country is at 200,000 miles, and the only reason it's still on the road and reliable, is because of these amazing techs! They have saved me bundles by notifying me when things need to be serviced in the near future. This car, and any car I own in the futurel, will only see the inside of this shop. Thank you!
I've taken my pickup to Mark a couple of times and each time I was happy with the work they performed and the price I was charged. I had worked as a mechanic in Calif before I went to school and changed careers to engineering, so I'm fairly knowledgable about most things mechanical, and I will continue doing business with Mark Butitta.
