Question: manual trans 5 sp 4wheel drive

no 5th or reverse.all the other gears are fine.tryed repair shops,they tell me to bring it in to be dianousg.i do ,then they say the trans has to be taken out.can't get any info at all.not even a diagram of the outside or inside with the shifter or linkage. no dia-code or info!

    It sounds like the transmission has to be removed to repair. Kia as a car manufacturer put a lot of great technical information and work shop manuals on line for free for Kia owners. www.kiatechinfo.com
