I was driving my 2001 Honda Civic (Manual)with the AC running and as I shifted down a gear it stalled!! No shuttering.....just lost power. This happened several times a few miles from home and I couldn't get home fast enough. What could be causing this? I just had the rotors and barrings replace. Surely that has nothing to do with my car stalling and losing power?

Hello after the vehicle stalled does it start up right away and is ther a check engine light on.The idle air control valve could be at fault but i recommmend having a diagnostic performed a at qualified repair center asap. The repair work on the rotors and wheel bearings will not make your vehicle stall. You are welcome to drop your vehicle off at RECO'S RENCHES AUTO REPAIR CENTER located in OLD TOWN PITTSBURG,CA on east 10th street.HAVE A BLESS DAY from DR.RECO.
