I have been a service department customer at (Carmichael) Maita Honda for 10 years. They have always treated me very well and have taken (usually) excellent care of my car. The waiting area is better than any I have ever used before. Although I have a couple of small issues with Honda's Service policies, I am very happy with Maita Honda's service department.
I have been to Maita Honda approximately three times since April. Twice I had questions about my car and they very kindly answered them all. The last visit was for an oil change and tire rotation before we left on a road trip. I also had them wash and sweep out the car. Always their service is excellent and they have always made me feel that I am a valued customer and a welcome part of their busy day.
July 2013 Service Appointment for 2012 CRV: Greeted promptly and in friendly manner Service agent carefully listened to the problem and responded appropriately. Technicians covered seats and headrest with protective sheets. I waited for minor service. They were out of doughnuts, but had basket of healthy snacks. Maita has 3 waiting areas: One with TV with captions and thankfully muted sound, second room a “Wi-Fi Café”, with complimentary PC Internet access, and a third area outside with park benches facing service entrance/exit. Maita offered a free car wash, which I accepted. My CRV was finished within promised time. Service advisor found me, let me know my car was ready, and answered any questions I had. The cashier was polite, friendly and efficient. As a long time customer of the former Carmichael Honda, which Maita bought, I was disappointed with the rough transition in ownership. However, it appears Maita has their “act” together and is approaching the level of excellence provided by the previous owners. Congratulations.
I purchased my car from Carmichael Honda and always had it serviced there. It is three miles from my house. Since Maita has taken over I have felt that the repair pricing has increased excessively. The last time I went to Maita I had no confidence in the service consultant who quoted me the highest prices she could. I went to Shingle Springs Honda and received excellent service in a timely manner at pricing 30 to 40 percent cheaper. Go Shingle Springs Honda.
