The main pulley on my metro moved about a quarter inch out and now the belts wont stay on. I tried to move it back into position by loosening the bolt, but it wont budge. The car only had 120k on it and runs great besides now

If you force it in or out with a prybar, will it move? If so, I'm afraid that the crankshaft thrust washers may have failed. 120k is a lot of miles for that motor so anything could happen. find a Geo, Suzuki or GM specialist to check it out.
