MAF sensor, troublecode P0170, P0173 on 2001 Mercedes-Benz E320

Check engine light code is P0170, Po173 fuel trim malfunctions, I clean the Mass air flow sensor with brake spray cleaner and reset the code, but the check engine light back on again, should I replace the MAF sensor?

Cleaning the MAF with brake cleaner may have been mistake. There are special cleaners for this purpose, and the wrong type of cleaner may damage the sensor. To verify if the sensor is bad you'll need to monitor the signals in and out of the sensor to determine if it is OK.

I know you may be limited on your funds,i dont know,,but when i bought my car six years ago,,i just went online and replaced it,,plugs plugwires,,o2 sensors ,,the whole ball of wax,,you can go to or fcpeuro and get a Bosch maf,its not that high,,,

my check engine light came back on after a while again after cleaning the mas. what can be causing this problem.

I changed the amf O2s1 air filter the light can back on after 20 miles. Any ideas?
