I brought my car to have it tuned so it would pass the smog test to get stickers for my car since it did not pass inspection and they parted on the street and I have over $1000 in parking tickets do to where they chose to park it. They have not taken care of it, I keep getting parking ticket notices and there are about to boot my car. This was very irresponsible behavior and I'm not getting a response back from them that I feel that I need, like a phone call or a letter to me saying that it is taken care of it.

Staff was nice but I think the policies were unprofessional.
All of my needs at the time of the visit were addressed with detailed explanations, about the service provided and its related cost, using language I understood thus could follow.

Mike did body work on my 2006 Lexus 400h. We'd gotten hit in a parking lot while shopping and the person left the scene without taking responsibility. So we didn't claim it on insurance. M&R did a great job replacing the front bumper, right quarter panel and fixing all the electronics underneath. And it was reasonably priced.

Senior has been awesome and even offered me 3 free oil changes, after I spent a fortune on new break lines. M&R is a great company and they are plain out honest!

My experience at M&R Import Car Service was fantastic. They were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They went above and beyond and did a whole safety check on my car, replaced a light and tested my battery when I was just having them check a flat tire. I ultimately had to get new tires which they were price competitive and kept me informed during the whole process.
Charged me 800 dollars for a service that insurance did not pay for -- not happy with how situation was handled
Dealer is more trustworthy and experienced. I went in for a software update, which was supposed to be around $1000 with other repairs. Walked out with a water pump failure. The car was given back to me the first time, supposedly test driven by one of their workers, clearly not the case. I ended up having to take numerous cab trips over to the shop. Huge waste of time and huge inconvenience. My car fan now makes a weird noise when's it warmed up as well as a funny smell comes out from the vents. Seriously disappointed by the service.

They were incredibly accommodating. I originally took my car to the Firestone on North Avenue in Chicago. When Firestone advised that I needed an import repair shop, M&R picked up my car from Firestone. I was also out of town, so they held my car without charge for a couple of days until I returned to town.
I believe the service was good but quotes need to be accurate. The bill was approximately $50 more than quoted price but they let me pay what I was quoted.
I have always had great service from Mike and his company. They just did great work on my 1973 MGB.
They were overpriced and misleading. Said I needed a new engine when another shop got it to start after letting the engine set overnight. Also performed work that ended up being quoted $2000 less at other shops
