Problem Description and Possible Solution

A squeak may be heard from the base of the steering column while turning the steering wheel. The noise may be coming from the lower seal on the steering shaft. Lubrication of the seal will commonly correct this problem.

Squeecking of steering wheel when turning at low speeds when parking
Squeeks all the time now, before a bit but progressively more noticeable.
Bought car used in 2013 and noticed a couple months in a light squeak/groan when turning the wheel. Troubleshooting ruled out power steering pump. Mainly hear this sound when it's cold out.
