Question: Low ticking noise when starting up. Could it need oil change?

The noise does die down when it's been on the road a while. Thank you.

    Try checking the oil level first before driving! Running an engine low on oil can be disasterous.
    Improper oil grade, worn engine components, and/or cold startup temperatures can all produce ticking noises that fade as engine temps get to proper operating levels.
