I will get with you on sae type and brand filter, fresh oil yes about 700 miles on it, and no engine noise

Actual oil pressure can be checked with a test gauge screwed into where the pressure switch/sending unit goes, that way you will know for sure what is going on!

Ok can I pick one up at an auto parts store or should I just take it in to a certified shop that has the equipment
Replypushrod, February 15, 2014, 19:57Master
Take it to a shop but you may have to leave it so it can be tested cold. Any repair shop should be equipped to do this.

Just your opinion and experience with 160, 000 miles you think it could be the oil pump going out

Have the test performed first then post the results.
