Question: Low lights do not come on...highlights do...I changed the license plate bulbs

they worked fine..wife went to work..tonite she had no lowbeams but did have highbeams...made no other bulb changes...car starts fine..no hesitation....

    Use a voltmeter check fuses in under hood fuse box 1o amp, the two fuses are HDLP-L and HDLP-R. If they have power when low beam is selected relay and switch is OK, if power is present at the yellow wire and the light green/black wire at each bulb then it is the bulbs that are bad.
    There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
