I HAVE A 01 DEVILLE WITH 43000 MI ON IT IT SAT FOR 3 MONTHS WITH A TANK FULL OF GAS I ONLY DRIVE SHORT TRIPS LIKE TO THE STORE AND BACK WARM WEATHER I JUST FILLED IT AT 1/2 A TANK AND EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE IT ALMOST STALLS FROM THE TAKE OFF.

Stalling from the take off could be several things, like old ignition parts ( the 100k until you need a tune up is really a sales myth ), a defective Throttle Position Sensor, A Vacuum leak etc. Any Check Engine or Service Engine Soon light on"? If so, get the code and have the code checked out. Also, I would not let gas sit in your tank for 3 months, especially in cold weather, I would drive the tank down until it is on fumes and put in fresh gas every 30-40 days. Gas, these days, has lots of Ethanol, which attracts water, even that could be your hesitation, just moisture building up in your fuel. Have you seen the commercial about the guy who lets his boat sit for a long time and then it won't even run? Same thing here. If you have to, only keep a 1/2 tank of gas, so you can go through it every 30-40 days. I hope that I gave some helpful ideas.
