Question: low humming in front end

car has low humming noise only when moving. it changes with the road speed.it is more pronounced with slight steering pressure to the left and disappears momentarily with steering pressure to the right. the front hub bearings seem ok.

    Recheck your front wheel bearing/hub assemblies, especially the right side. It does sound like a bearing problem.

    I have same problem. replaced front hub bearings still same noise. a couple techs said could be carrier bearing.trying to find out this process,in car or do i have to dismantle transmission to replace carrier bearing?
