My 2002 Corolla drives like a dream until I have made several stops and have been driving a good long while. It sounds like grinding and flapping. This sound appears to be coming from the passenger side of the car. I am a senior citizen and on a fixed income, therefore I would like to have some kind of idea about what this is before I take it to a shop. I realize that it sounds like the brakes, but it doesn't do this all of the time. Can you give me some advice, please?

Better have the brakes checked because it sounds like the brake pads are worn and as they heat up they begin to make noise, you can find a repair shop here www.repairpal.com/directory and double check prices here www.repairpal.com/estimator put in your cars info and choose front brake pad/resurface rotors
