2005 Jeep Liberty

Question: Loud metallic grinding sound coming from passenger rear tire area.

Sound occurs while driving (no particular speed) and braking. Not a constant noise but it has grown worse over time. Sometimes sounds like a jet engine from inside the vehicle.

    Sounds like your brake pads need to be checked. Alot of brake pads have an indicator on them to warn you when they need to be changed. Or your rotors could be worn out? Or one of your brake pads is stuck. Either way they need to be checked right away,leaving them to grind could be a much more costly repair.
