Question: loud knocking...oil light on..plenty of oil

the oil light started to come on after a 20 min. drive. checked oil..plenty. Now there is a loud knocking when driving and oil light comes on after 2-3 minutes! help

    Your oil pump is going or gone quit driving asap and have towed to dealer about a 700-900 dollar fix! If you drive it you will destroy the bottom of the engine.
