Buick LeSabre Loss of power steering fluid from steering rack failure

The steering rack may fail causing a loss of power steering fluid as a result the steering may become hard to turn.

At low speed (attempting to park) it's as if there is no power steering at all - especially when a left turn is made -
Leaking automatic steering fluid lines causing failure of NYS inspection due to safety issue...expensive 290+ tax repair estimate from dealer. 7/30/2014 -
