losing power on 2005 Chevrolet Aveo

we have replaced head and waterpump and timing belt during summer. but seems now we get in the car it starts as soon as we get going it doesnt seem to have power to go, it almost stalled out on me yesterday but wondering if it could be fuel filter or fuel pump seems that you press the gas it don't wont to go . it has oil and transmission fluid we checked all that but it seems it has no power like it did after we replaced the head it was running fine then it started a few days ago missing and trying to stall out. Can u help?
