Mercury Cougar Clunk and/or Rattle Due to Worn Inner Tire Rod Ends

While steering, if you hear a clunk or a rattle, or if you experience premature tire wear, this could indicate the inner tie rod ends are loose or worn and will require replacement.

Popping when turning steering wheel -
everytime I go over a bump it clunks and rattles...I see in my wheel well for the front that all the rubber pieces are worn out and shot...need to fiX ? -
