1990 BMW 735i Question: Locked doors

I am the proud owner of a 1990 BMW 735i series, which runs perfectly. Just recently, I tried opening the locked doors with the key, but the doors will not open. However, the trunk opens, but I still cannot get inside the car. Unfortunately, I have all of my car booklets in the glove compartment in the car. Please help.

    twist the key counterclockwise the press.

    Turn the key to the "unlock" position slowly to the left while lifting the handle on the driver's door. It takes some practice;

    your battery is probably dead, take out the trunk light, attach a battery charger to the leads on trunk light holder, make sure the charger is on low amps, then open the door.

    Attaching a battery charger to the trunk light worked like a charm. Saved me from calling a locksmith and charging me money that I don't have to spend. Thanks a million. And that lift the handle while turning the key is a crock of crap!!!!!!

    it means that the batery is out of order , left up the car and mack a battery conection to the posetive rod of the marsh and earth and then open the door you will find that thebattery is complety gone it needs recharging
