1990 BMW 735i Q&A

1990 BMW 735i Question: Locked doors

I am the proud owner of a 1990 BMW 735i series, which runs perfectly. Just recently, I tried opening the locked doors with the key, but the doors will not open. However, the trunk opens, but I still cannot get inside the car. Unfortunately, I have all of my car booklets in the glove compartment in the car. Please help. -

your battery is probably dead, take out the trunk light, attach a battery charger to the leads on trunk light holder, make sure the charger is on low amps, then open the door. -

Attaching a battery charger to the trunk light worked like a charm. Saved me from calling a locksmith and charging me money that I don't have to spend. Thanks a million. And that lift the handle while turning the key is a crock of crap!!!!!! -
