Question: location of oil sending unit

oil guage is not working right. wondering if its a loose wire on sending unit. when you turn truck off needle does not drop to 0 like the other quages does, when you turn key on the other needles goes up and it goes down.

    Could be either the wire or the sending unit, located at back of engine on top, have the oil pressure checked when sending unit is removed.

    most likely bad stepper motor on cluster, may be warranteed if less than 95,000 mi.
