No diagnostic codes my car is in Colorado with my son and it won't start. I am trying to fix it from Florida it cranks but wont start and no spark. Check coil and wires and they told me ok. Bought a new crank position sensor to install but unable to locate the location of sensor on block. Could you please provide me with a diagram location or tell me where I can find the old sensor to replace it. Give me a good reference point close to and easily recognizable object on the block. Thank You CptTrevor

On many Saturns, it goes in the block on the back side of the engine, under neath the intake manifold. I often have to remove the oil filter to get good access.

thank you very much yes this info is very helpful. CptTrevor I would like to know if there is an alternate location in Saturns where the sensor might be located like next to the starter. Is the sensor accessible from the top of the car or do you have to jack the car up? I am not doing this my son in Colorado is doing this. He is having a hard time locating the sensor from the top of the car. He told me he look next to the starter and he can't find it and he is having a hard time locating anything next to the oil filter under the manifold from above the engine. Is it necessary to Jack the car and locate this sensor from underneath? CptTrevor
