Question: locatin of input turbine speed sensor

where is the input turbine speed sensor located ? Some one told me this is a fancy name for a speed sensors and that it would be located on the back of a hub ?

    This is a speed sensor that measures the speed of the torque converter, so it should be located on the transmission, near where it mates to the engine.
