Check the fuses. It's pretty common for the fuses to blow when using aftermarket mobile device chargers.

Auxiliary power outlets and cigarette lighter are protected by 20 Amp fuse number 32, marked "FRT AUX" in the under hood fuse box.

Thanks for the info. I over looked in the manual when I seen onstar,and must have missed it when I checked fuses with test meter
