Lilburn Auto Center has been serving the local community for over 20 years with owners Bob and Kathryn Croxton at the helm. They also have the honor of becoming the second RepairPal Certified shop in all of Georgia! Bob has been an automotive instructor and he continues his teaching ways with his crew both personally, and by sending them to training on a regular basis. Their group of technicians are well rounded with a mix of experience, certification and training. They have great support with the quality tools, equipment, and information needed to properly perform their job. All services and repairs are backed by a 2-year/24,000-mile warranty, and in some cases even longer (see shop for details). Lilburn Auto Center offers conveniences like a customer shuttle, early bird drop-off, WiFi and even fresh coffee.

I just found the staff to be especially helpful. This wasn't a regular thing, this was an emergency where we broke down. We ended up at the auto shop, and they just went out of their way to help us. If I lived in the state, I would use them all the time.

I have been to numerous other places in the past, and have been told I need this and that. As a matter of fact, my mother-in-law started using their place because she used to take her car to the dealership and they told her she needed a new engine because it was making a whistling sound; she had a crack in the block. She took it up there to Lilburn Auto and they started laughing and said they were just screwing you. Every time I've gone there, I've never been jacked around. I used to go to other places; every time I went in just for an oil change, I needed a couple thousand dollars worth of stuff done because this is wrong and that's wrong, but you never get that at Lilburn. I never get the run-around. I always feel like a get a fair shake. They tell me if I need something and they tell me why I need it and they show me I need it. If I'm a little strapped for cash, they tell me if the repair can wait. They are always fair and honest there. I've been going to them for more than 10 years.

In the shop's defense, they did give me an option as to whether to put in the correct part or the incorrect part, but I don't think that is a decision that the customer should make. I think if you are a mechanic, you should know that the correct part is the correct part and the customer shouldn't have to do the research on the Internet to tell you what is the right thing to do.
