Question: Lights flicker on instrument panel;car loses power and dies

Instrument panel lights and head lights flicker, radio flicks off and on. Yesterday, all panel lights were flickering and the engine died. I was able to start back up with no problem. This has been happening for about two weeks, intermittingly. The car has 98k miles

    Check battery cables for corrosion and make sure terminals are secure. Also have your battery tested to make sure the Cold cranking Amps (CCA) are up to specification. Most auto parts stores will perform this test for no charge.
